OSP is a UK -based hip hop community that strives to spread a positive vibe among the fellow rappers of the UK. Formed in 2014, the reading-based brotherhood OSP consisted of Esa Kwame (rapper, beat maker), J Blackz (rapper, singer-songwriter, beat maker), Silqe (rapper, beat maker), and Subject (producer, engineer). Their songs are appreciated for impactful messages for the society that will surely leave a mark on the listener. They broke into individuals during the journey and reformed back in the summer of 2021 with the goal of bringing their music to a wider and more engaged audience. They melodically intertwine their raw productions with cheesy flows to embrace the listener’s heart. Being the epicenter of the movement, they are set to take over the scene.
OSP recently released their new single ‘Fill It Up (Riser Dub Remix)’ which is the remix of ‘Fill It Up’ which was a part of their EP named ‘OSP’. The track was powerful in itself and making a remix of the same added certain flavors to the song that took it to the next level. The ambient 808’s go hard and will surely make you catch the groove. The flows are smooth like butter and fresh like bread out of oven. The lyrics are deep and impactful. The production is elite and compliments the vocals beautifully. The hi-hat roll is what caught my attention the most, it is fresh and hip-hop craves something new like this. This might just be the best remix song of the decade! This is a song you should listen to if you love 808’s and smooth flows.
