Smith St. Nicholas was born in Wisconsin and is currently living in Harlem. Since he was a young child, he has been interested in music and has learned to play many instruments. He has performed at festivals around the state, taught music to students, and composed music for choirs and orchestras. As a result of his talent and dedication, he was given a music scholarship for college. After college, he traveled around the world performing with different singing groups and then started working on his solo debut album. Sadly, life took unexpected turns in 2014. But, he’s finally back! It’s been more than six years since he fell ill and was unable to sing. He’s been through a lot of struggles. He has recovered and released his first single.
His single ‘Our Storyline’ is so powerful! The song holds a special place in Smith’s heart because it was motivated by his own battle to rise again and shine. Smith is a musical genius, and his latest track ‘Our Storyline’ is evidence of that. The song is catchy and sure to get stuck in your head, but it also has a really dope beat that will get you moving. The middle portion of the song is my favorite part, it’s such a change of pace and really showcases Nicholas’ expertise in music. Additionally, the vocal modulation throughout the song is remarkable. The climax of the song is beautiful, and the soundscape near the end is just gorgeous. The artist conveys a story that has the power to resonate with us on a deeper level. This is definitely an addictive hit. ‘Our Storyline,’ is a work of art and a true testament to his talent as an artist. I can’t wait to hear more from Smith.
