The Sparkles is a Brooklyn-based band that makes songs full of life. Their songs give off the Green Day vibe infused with modern songwriting. The way they mix the 90’s music so beautifully with the modern elements is something that will surely send you back in time reminiscing the old days. Their tracks have strong compositional structures that take their music to a whole another level. The drums are innovative in each track and after listening to their tracks, I can say it without a doubt that The Sparkle’s drummer is one of the best drummers I’ve come across in a while. This band is taking over the internet by storm through their debut album ‘The Sparkles’
‘Gowanus’ is the title track of the album ‘The Gowanus’ and one of the most powerful track on the album. The music gives off a super fun summer vibe. The electric guitar melodies are innovative and hypnotic. The way their music engulfs the vocals and become a whole is something to die for. The drum rolls are full of life and bring the track to life. The lyrics induce intense chill vibes into the listeners head. The song will surely have you moving with joy throughout the track. The hook is catchy enough to get you hooked for days. The musical elements are perfectly curated to make you move from side to side. ‘Gowanus’ is a part of one of the best albums I have herd in a while. The album is a must listen for anyone who likes to groove with the music.
