Becca Lynn – Volume 2: Sage | Infectious

Becca Lynn is a rising star in the world of music. Their career started relatively recently and already, they have gained the attention of major companies landing syncs with big-time companies like Hulu and Netflix within their first year of existence, they have reached a large number of fans. They began writing songs in early 2021. With their first EP, “Volume 1: Indigo” already garnering tens of thousands of streams, Becca Lynn will have you grooving with their upbeat feel-good beats and lyrics that are sure to hook you in.

Their second album ‘Volume 2: Sage’ is out. It comprises 5 songs, starting with ‘Why not.’ It has a strong, catchy beat that you cannot stop dancing to. The artist makes no delay in picking up the moment and the guitar riffs with the bass just make your head groove along with amazing vocals and chorus. This song will be stuck in your head for hours afterward!

It Don’t Get Better Than This is a masterpiece. This song is just great in so many ways. There’s something about the arrangement that’s so familiar and yet not at the same time. The vocals are incredibly catchy and the delivery is very strong. The vocalist keeps up the same energy from start to end and you end up singing along “It doesn’t get better than this.” The music is polished and well-delivered but still fun and playful. I really appreciate all of these elements coming together to create an awesome final product that I just don’t want to stop listening to!

Isn’t That Something’ is an incredibly infectious number from their second album. The lyrics are fast-paced but easy enough to understand – the listener can relate easily. When you want a fun song for a summer day, an upbeat tune that makes it easy to shake your body and act silly, then Isn’t that somethin’ is just what you need. No instrument overpowers one another and transitions from start to finish is smooth.

Show Me The Good Stuff is a bit different from all the above songs. It starts off with a beautiful guitar intro and then continues with a solid rhythm throughout the song. For me, the whistle note, together with the bass and chorus, was the standout.

The last song is You Make Me Look Good. There’s nothing like a good dose of positivity to keep you going through your daily routine. This song helps you do just that. It is such a positive song. By the end of the song, you will be standing in front of the mirror singing along to the title of the song while grooving to this addictive music. All in all, that infectious beat, great vocals, and a replay value will have you playing each song on this album over and over again.
