From Philadelphia, USA, My Cousin’s Girlfriend’s House is an Alternative Post Punk band with loads of energy. With tons of fun and a load of confidence, the trio certainly knows how to pack a punch. Moreover, their music will get you pumped and ready to take on any challenges that face you. In fact, listening to their music can just about get you through anything. For fans of Punk, this is certainly the band for you.
Their latest single, Wasting Away, kind of epitomises the My Cousin’s Girlfriend’s House sound. It has everything a Post Punk band needs from the driving guitar tones to the screaming vocals. The band sounds an awful lot like Simple Plan, Bowling For Soup and The All-American Rejects. It’s fun to revisit this angsty sound every now and then and MCGH has made it even better. If you want to relive those teenage angst years again, then this is the band for you. Wasting Away is such a great track with the hard drums, powerful vocals, driving guitars and extremely heavy bass. I don’t think there are many bands out there that can recreate this sound.
My Cousin’s Girlfriend’s House might just be the phreshest thing since that lil special to good ole BDN on 4th & Goal in the bowl. What are you waiting for?
