Zen2Muz-Pride | Precipice

Following a passion is a whole other journey later in life. Family and the private aspect intersect so much, some things tend to remain a hobby. For Steven Jantzen aka Zen2Muz, that has been nothing but incentive. A self taught guitarist, he has now excelled in the sounds of acoustic as well as electric guitar. This is his latest single, Pride.

Pride has several nuances and complexities you would never expect from a self-taught musician. Dancing around scales like it is his personal playground, Pride features his voice at the most developed and powerful it has ever been. The lyrics show perspective, of a musician and a father of three. Making sure the sound of each of the guitars is layered yet discernable, Zen2Muz is making ripples on a lake that has been tepid for a while.

His album Self-Inflicted in 2021 was a reflective journey that was just as powerful. Focusing on acoustic on that album like Andy McKay, his later songs have allowed a style to be developed, alt-rock and classic as well. Ever since his 2019 single Satisfied, he has been on a journey to create music and connect with people, translating his experience into effortless, meaningful tracks. Pride is Zen2Muz’s precipice, where he climbs a peak looking forward to another.

Self professed metalhead, moderately well read. If the music has soul, it's whole to me. The fact that my bio could have ended on a rhyme and doesn't should tell you a lot about my personality.
