Forever, by John Long is a really unique single that combines elements of country and pop. Again, I am not too sure myself as it has elements from other genres too but these seem to stand out. A very quirky combination with an electronic touch creates a refreshing new genre of music.
John Long tends to keep his music positive and inspirational. Music for him is an escape from this terrible world that was not kind to him. He not only releases music but also lends his voice for a multitude of mainstream ads. Long was even a part of American idol in 2012!
The track features some amazing angelic vocals that is highlighted by the other elements. The minute the banjo-like strings are thrown into the mix, I got really interested in this track. A very nice touch to give a country vibe to the whole track. The mixing is top notch and the arrangement is to be applauded. Especially the transitions that Long gets really creative with. Check out this latest single Forever from John Long. A very interesting take on general electronic pop music. It even features a really nice hook/drop that the track sort of builds towards. The cover art is super creative and portrays infinity in love – just like the lyrics in the track – “You’re my Forever”.
John Long has established a new genre in this single and i love it!
