The Confederation – Coat In The Hallway | Melting Pot

Coat In The Hallway from The Confederation is an upbeat, lively song with enough influences to run out the fingers on both hands. It is cinematic, it is jazzy, and somewhere in there are some rock influences too. However, there are rock influences, very clear neo-funk vibes, and even some soul mixed in there thanks to the vocals. To me, Coat In The Hallway is the kind of contemporary music that is to be expected from these times. In a way, we are now a melting pot of cultures, influences, and genres as a society. And The Confederation is no different.

Hailing from the United Kingdoms, the broad church musical outfit brings together the many exciting authorities. These range from influences the past and present, while looking into the future with confidence. Their sonic tones and textures are wilfully designed to supersede genres. In turn, this is to allow a sensual auditory experience to be borne out of them. This is the band’s third release of the year. The group members recorded it via live sessions at first. Then, it was perfected by Andrea Del Miglio, who can be credited with bringing out the best from The Confederation.

Finally, defying any traditional rulebook with their music, The Confederations are now garnering attention from listeners across the world. Moreover, their unmatched and truly novel style is most definitely something we are watching out for.
