The new single from Fantast, “Jump It,” is a wild trip. The way Fantast handled the dynamics is extremely impressive. Each voice is presented as an exciting character, which immediately establishes the tone. The verses simply flow into one another without any interruptions. There are some remarkable concerns raised in the lyrics, which need a great deal of courage and maturity to first recognise and then articulate with such clarity. The words are powerful, striking the perfect chords deep within.
The work begins with a series of hard-hitting Brass chords that set the perfect tone for the voices to catch the listener’s attention. During the verses, the audience are kept captivated by the unique vocal production. The bottom end is solidly strong, and the tight beat and beneath shadow grooves provide intrigue to the soundscape. Until the very end, you can’t stop nodding your head. With ease, the transitions do an excellent job of rising and gracefully shifting to the following segment. The vocal performance is excellent.
The pulsing synth keeps the tensions high. I really love the tones, which demonstrate their mastery of their instruments. The smooth transition between Hip-Hop, Worldbeats, and Alternative/Industrial by Fantast is noteworthy, and something to keep an eye on in their next tracks. With their latest single, ‘Jump It,’ they will undoubtedly make the appropriate sounds. I am confident that a wide spectrum of listeners will love the tune. The tune is beautifully written, and the excellent arrangement complements it well.
