Love Ghost returns with their genre mashing unique style-this time with a new single, Clouds. After their last single Wolfsbane that I reviewed, it is a refreshing change within the same lineage-of a throne that they seem to claim. A collaboration is also seen here with Scarlett Rose, a refreshing voice to hear within the verses.
Choosing to perform in the stratosphere, Clouds shares a Post Malone vibe that is a popular background to sink into. The track is an apparition, bounces through verses and disappear before you can catch them. Their sound spreads through a certain spectrum with comfortable, relatable chord changes as well.
Love Ghost aren’t new to the prospect of bringing a fresh face and voice to their songs. The collaborations light up new possibilities and even superb changes in their style that can make them run in a fast lane. After their immensely popular track Closure, Love Ghost seem to have found a groove and are going nowhere until they explore the matrix of possibilities that surround it.
The rap, the rock and the trap styles all combine in this melting pot of sound that is a reflection of a whole generation creating music. Though not totally unique in the produced sound, there are moments that spin gold into the track making it a must add to playlist-especially lo-fi music lovers.
