Nikia has been writing songs and playing the keys since she was only a kid. She has learned production, and now is meddling into different styles to find her unique sound. The production does have room for improvement in the song Pretty Brown Skin. At some parts it feels that the music is colliding with the songwriter’s intentions. That said, there is also a lot of promise. The intelligent use of accordion in between verses, and especially at the end, really shines through.
