The American Singer-Songwriter, Scott Rocco, is truly an inspirational artist. He has a fire burning within him that cannot be quenched. It is obvious that Rocco is a very skilled musician. His ability to play rhythm guitar is comparable to the likes of Pete Townshend and Billy Corgan. Normally, if one were to listen to a Scott Rocco track they would definitely find something that reminds them of Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and Goo Goo Dolls.
This latest track, Joyride, showcases Rocco’s ability as an unplugged musician. His live recordings sound just as good as his studio recordings – a feature that is hard to come by these days. The original track hit eighty thousand streams on Spotify and it comes as no surprise, considering how nostalgic Scott Rocco makes you feel. His melodies and techniques take me back to a time in my life when this was the only kind of music that existed. As a kid, listening to Springsteen and Goo Goo Dolls were some of the best memories I had, especially listening to the unplugged or live shows they played. I highly recommend Scott Rocco to anyone else who enjoys this kind of music.
