Swedish producer Johan Sjöblom Eliot, with his new concept project, has been electrifying with his newest release, Brand New Life. He has performed as an indie artist for such bands as The Exploding Boy, Prune, and Fake Moss. With an upcoming album entitled Demons, SJOBLÖM has released two tracks as singles – Tape and Brand New Life. This track is true to the indie vibe that Eliot strives for in his music, and he adds an interesting and fresh hint of new wave undertones. Brand New Life talks about battling addictions, or rather the fear of them, which in SJOBLÖM’s words is far worse. He tends to bring reality and fiction into his mixes often giving you a picture of what goes on in his own mind. SJOBLÖM has said that most of these tracks, he’s written roughly 15 years ago – including Brand New Life. With the help of Jon Bordon who produced the track, SJOBLÖM has reached a new level with his music. The track also comes with three remixes by notable electronic producers. With a sound that makes you reminiscent of old school indie, yet an unfamiliarity of the freshness that SJOBLÖM brings, Brand New Life should definitely be on your get psyched mixes and playlists!
