Ryan Fischer – Good Morning, Early Warning | Contagious
Following his anthemic number About The Future earlier in the year, Canadian singer-songwriter Ryan Fischer releases a fresh track — Good Morning, Early Warning — making it his second consecutive single in a row. Fischer is a performer for the crowds and deserves his rightful place in it, particularly with the contagious 80s satellite radio energy of his tracks that are a ridiculously catchy fusion of classic rock, folk-rock and balladic pop, very much like stalwarts in the genre like Elton John or Billy Joel. Ryan Fischer’s voice belongs to the classic rock frenzy of the 80s and so does his lyricism, particularly in their abilities to appeal to a completely new set of listeners and in making a crowd sway to the sound of his acoustic. The track is a simple yet effective arrangement featuring the tinkering of a piano, an acoustic strum-n-hum and an electronic guitar that solos in vocal breaks with a sense of musical finality.
Two tracks under his new musical venture already (which share the same cover art!), Ryan Fischer’s direction towards a probable full-length EP or even an album is surely becoming more apparent. As great fans of his music, we cannot wait!
