John Murry’s latest single, Ones+Zeroes, is the second addition to the upcoming album he’s been working towards, The Stars are God’s Bullet holes. The song is allegorical to binary, a fundamental language that makes complicated systems, and applies that to an understanding of the strings that hold the universe together – the ones and zeroes, the nitty gritties of life. Murry’s soulful vocals over a country-inspired indie acoustic/alternative set are more than able to be stirring and powerfully evocative.
