Matty Read is a UK-based singer-songwriter, and has released his first extended collection of music earlier this month, entitled Little Walks. His track, Bus Ride to Sevilla is a genuinely ecstatic and optimistic track about stopping to smell the roses – the part of the journey that serves as a gentle pause between adventures as well as a contextualiser for those experiences. There is a carefree ambience to the song, and Read’s soothing voice and melodic vocals allows for the last track on this EP to close it out in a mellow and uplifting fashion. It is a soft acoustic indie rock track that the artist describes similar to the style of Jason Mraz. Upbeat and optimistic, Bus Ride to Sevilla is a beautiful accompaniment to any kind of day.
